Job Description

Develop and implement accounting procedures, internal controls, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes. Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and records to identify discrepancies or errors and take appropriate corrective actions. Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations, standards, and industry trends, and ensure compliance in financial reporting and tax obligations. Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and professional development. Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial insights and recommendations based on historical data and industry trends. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements related to financial transactions and reporting. Drive process improvements to streamline accounting processes, reduce manual tasks, and increase efficiency through the use of automation or technology solutions. Act as a point of contact for internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit findings or recommendations. Collaborate with finance and HR teams to support payroll processing, tax filings, and benefits administration. Monitor key financial indicators, identify trends, and prepare financial reports for management review. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and knowledge sharing within the team.
