Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition and drive sales of our industrial automation solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience from sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, and process industries, with a strong ability to strategize, build relationships, and deliver growth.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
Identify, engage, and onboard new clients across relevant industrial sectors including manufacturing, automotive, and process industries.
Product Promotion:
Promote and demonstrate the company’s product portfolio, including fieldbus modules, IO systems, power supplies, and interface technologies.
Sales Strategy:
Design and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Market Research:
Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and refine go-to-market approaches.
Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients to drive repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Technical Collaboration:
Partner with technical teams to provide tailored pre-sales and post-sales support.
Reporting:
Present detailed sales reports, market feedback, and forecasts directly to the CEO.
Product Management Support:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product lifecycle management, including positioning, pricing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the business development team, assign targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation) or related field.
Experience:
8 to 14 years in business development, preferably in industrial automation, hydraulics, or filtration industries.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong understanding of industrial automation technologies
Strategic thinking with analytical problem-solving ability
Experience in team leadership and target management
Proficient in CRM platforms and MS Office Suite
Preferred Industry Background:
Hydraulics & Filtration or related industrial sectors
